Burke Show Cattle is a family owned operation that was established in 1987. Our goal is to market a wide variety of breed-leading cattle with and intense focus on black Maine-Anjou, Simmental, and Angus seed stock. We are located in the sandhills of Nebraska between Loup and Platte Rivers, just south of Genoa. Our ranch has been in the family for more than four generations. We have also operated a commercial feedlot and been involved in the banking industry for over 60 years.

For the last 18 years we have held a fall production sale the Sunday before Thanksgiving. New this year (2008) we are offering a spring private treaty steer sale. Check back in May for more details.

Our philosophy here at Burke Show Cattle is to do what it takes to get our customers the help they need to be successful in the show ring, pasture, and the sale arena. In addition to our cattle sales, we offer order buying and consulting services for both buyers and sellers.
